Biographical Information
Edith was born in Belper, Derbyshire, daughter of Robert and Mary Elizabeth Sellors. In the 1881 and 1891 census Edith is shown as living in John Gough’s house in Belper. He is her grandfather. By the 1901 and 1911 censuses she is living in her aunt’s household in Newby, Scarborough. Her aunt, Sarah Wigley Gough is a retired draper, and neither lady has an occupation.
Edith’s death certificate says that she died at 67 Westborough and that she was the spinster daughter of Robert Sellors, Architect and Surveyor.
