Biographical Information
1911 census living with parents, younger brother Joseph G and 4 sisters.
While training with 3/5th Yorkshire Battalion at Strensall, nr York, he accidentally shot himself at Clarence Garden Hotel. He died at Scarborough Hospital. He was 16 years old but newspaper report gave his age as 19.
