Biographical Information
William was born in Scarborough, son of William Henry and Ellenor Elizabeth of 80 Highfield. William worked as an apprentice joiner. He enlisted in Scarborough and went to Richmond on basic military training before serving in France. He took part in the assault on Guillemont, where he lost his life. His body was never recovered.
