Biographical Information

Edmund was born at 4 Sherwood St Scarborough, son of John Enderby Jackson, a nationally renowned band promoter, and Eliza. He had a sister Harriet Gertrude. At age 15 Edmund was a book stall assistant. He joined up in 1914 and died in St Omer, France.
