Born 1877 in Hunslet. Son of Joseph & Esther Gill of Hunslet, Leeds. Married to Mary Elizabeth. Had lived at 25 Norman Street, Ilkeston, Derby. Ernest died age 42 in Scarborough. War record shows Ernest was an Electric Car Driver and had 5 children.
