Born 1891 in Cockermouth. 1911 census, parents, William (Agent Parcels Carrier) & Ellen Gibson of 40 Oak Road, Scarborough, with James, age 18 (Assistant Gents Hosier). CWGC also states James was husband of Beatrice Alice Dawson (formerly Gibson), 40 Trafalgar Street West, Scarborough.
